This book was supposed to be a buddy read for Fable book club in December 2024, but the e-book wasn't available in the app. So, I read on my own (meaning a couple of ways like bought the book/e-book or checked out at the library/Libby app).

- I'd say the setting and chapters with flashbacks.

- The writing. British English included and I got confused with words (I looked the words up online)

- The characters were good. I had an odd feeling about Quinn's mother, but that changed later.

- Reliable mostly.

Synopsis:
